My Lynchbox, played by George at the Rock the Bayou Festival in Houston, arrived today. The year was actually 2008. Hard to see if it was even turned on but the cab, which has the Signature Eminence Super V speakers, was mic'd. I added my Super V module to it. It is a little dinged up here and there, but I got the head, with the Brahma, and cabinet for $999, plus shipping.

Head AND cabinet for 1000$???!! Now that is a killer deal. The head also had the brahma in it. That is hands down my fave stocker. Apparently it was George's too. He seemed always to play through it when using these lynchboxes. (that or he had them as a backup) I like my LB a lot. Not sure if anything in th power section is different than a standard RM100 but the green tolex must give it the mojo.

What a deal. My Lynchbox combo came from George back in 2007ish. I know it's a great feeling.

Anyway, that's an awesome deal. I've been looking for both one of those old cabs, as well as one of the old 100W heads.

They have to be turned up to really give up the great sounds. But I find they sound really good down low too.

Now I have 2 Lynchbox RM100LB heads. I wish the Lynch used one was in as good of shape as the one I just bought a couple weeks ago. Also, the Brahma that the Lynch used one came with is so much louder than the Super V I put in it.
