What tubes came in your Lynch mods?

I noticed that the Brahma was different from the Grail and Mr Scary which have JJ 12AX7 preamp tubes... it has Tung Sol 12AX7 installed.
The Tung Sol happens to be a personal fav... much smoother with nicer top end than most tubes... even the very cool JJ IMHO.

Anyone else seeing this?

Interesting....Tung Sols are one of the more expensive currently made 12AX7's....I'm surprised they put them in there at the factory.

My Grail and Mr Scary both came with JJ ECC83s

I have not heard the new Tung Sol until now. All my Tung Sol tubes to this point were NOS from the 60's. I have another batch of NOS on order that are all being tested as we speak.

The new Tung Sol tubes sound great... clear with great presence and clean lows and not harsh on the top end... like I've come to know from Tung Sol. It may be an upgrade they decided to go with due to the nature of the Brahma. I can see that the top end may not be as incredible with differnt tubes. The JJ are good but the Tung Sol are much better... IMHO
It's the JJ power amp tubes that kick as for me.
