and drew- back to your original post- The Rectos are more fizzy and loose sounding by nature- I tended to dial the Erect towards a more tight/mid focused tone (yeah, towards a Marshall tone) I also found the "vintage" mod was very cool for low/mid gain tones. Very punchy and tons of clarity.
