OK, I'm really interested in this mod. I've been listening to the clip on Rob's site, but I wanna hear more. Does anyone have some clips they could share?

Can it do these tones?

The JF XTC is one I always enjoy when I load it up. I originally got it wanting to have an AIC high gain tone but found it also really excels at low and mid gain tones.
I will try to get a vid done soon and show various settings. Might not be until the weekend.

Marco, your playing is GREAT, man!! The XTC sounds really nice. Can your module do the blue channel as well? What are your opinions of the Red vs Blue channels?

Hey Nitrous! Can't wait to hear your clip! I'll be away from the internet for about a week, but I will definitely be checking back in, to hear all these clips. So far, I think I would really dig this mod! Convince me that I need one!!

It had both Red and Blue channels and they each sounded fantastic. I don't have the module anymore because I went all dual mods but when I had it, it was my main mod for solos. I just contacted Rob today about making me a new dual module and another XTC is a possibility; I miss that one. Thanks for the compliment!

Those clips sound really good.

This is with a solid state power amp and the recorded volume is a bit low but you can hear me noodling on the XTC red channel between 2:08 and 2:39:

There is a perfect example of where tone only matters to a certain extent. I just watched that whole video and at the end realized I was supposed to be listening for tone instead of sitting there in awe of a musician!

Dude, the same thing happened to me! I got to the end and went "Wait, I forgot about the XTC part!" Killer killer playing man. Four horns from me! \m/ \m/

I did the same. Actually stopped watching & drifted away to do something, just enjoying the playing in the background. And then I remember - oh, I was supposed to looking out for 2:08

That video took me back to meeting you in 2012 and I'm still as much a fan of your playing as I was then. I really need to lure you up to NJ for a few hours to get a few clips of your playing on tape. Subtle hint...

Thanks for the kind words guys, it is appreciated very much!

Rob, google says it?s 2:56 minutes to get there. Let?s plan a day and we can work on my new module :D
