Well, got the WGS British Leads (Classic Leads) and they are awesome...About as well-rounded of a tone as I have heard with MTS...Highly recommended!

Interesting info.

The website samples are very similar to the Classic Lead 80, which is the speaker I've recorded for the past 10 years but their version is less expensive.

Are you using 16 or 8 ohm version? I'm an 8 ohm guy. Thanks! :D

I'm using the 16 ohm version... :D

I'm currently using (2) 80 watt Celestion Century's which sound amazing
Speakers are supposedly rated 102db if that makes a difference
w/ my 100watt rm I'm wondering if I...

can use a 412 cab with 20 watt EVH speakers?

After a decade of recording the Celestion Classic Lead 80, I replaced that speaker with a Celestion Lynchback on Monday.

I'm still breaking in the new speaker but the early results are very positive.

I just picked up a Lynchback too. It will bill joining a 70's 80 watt Celestion in a 2x12 cab this weekend. Glad to hear you dig the Lynchback Mike. That gives me hope. :)

So even though I did not receive any comments...

I decided to use my 412 cab loaded with evh 20 watters and it does sound awesome.

Still not sure if I would damage the speakers eventually, etc.

,but I "think" it will be fine as long as I don't blast it
