This simple rig makes me happy and while I have more...This setup does everything I want....

The pic is fuzzy but in the RM4 is Twinface, GraphicOR, Vishnu, Markus+....The cab is a Randall 412NXT (with Celestion Neodymiums which are so tonal and so lightweight that the cab feels like a dummy cab but sure doesn't sound like one)....The power amp is a Carvin TS100...The Line6 M13 is my footswitch and also using 4CM....Lastly my fave fiddle, my Gibson Fig Paul from Chaisson Custom Guitars...

Hey guys. Can anyone recomend some 6l6 tubes too put into the mts 100? Like some tubes have 6l6 s. Or 6l6 r or 6l6 str 440? Just want too put the four 6l6s in. And bias it myself. A good brand that can recomend? And when i replace the 12 ax7 ones the v1 v2 v3 ones do i just put them in ? Or do i need too bias them? Or have someone do it ? Also what are some recomended 12 ax7 pre amp brand tubes or combinations of diffrent pre amp tubes. I like a mesa recto american sound compared to the british sound. Im new to the aspect of this awesome amp. Any advice would be much appreciated. I currently have jjs tubes el34s.

Something popped in the old Sound City head that I was slaving into, so it's back to the rack for me:

Looking like the rack rigs are becoming the preferred mode of MTSing...

Can't figure out how to actually post a photo. Oh well.

Just added the new Paul Reed Smith Archon to my collection.

I looooooooove it! And thank you for supplying me with the adequate funds to purchase this beauty. I'm a dealer here in AZ and I picked out the one with the prettiest piece of maple <3

Gone from preamp/head return/cab to preamp/stereo power amp/stereo cab and now to preamp/combo return over the last two pages.

The Jet City loop return kept coming up the winner in shoot-outs, so it's now my default MTS rig. People hate the line level Soldano loop that comes before the tone stack, but it sure works well for feeding an RM4 into. I installed a convertible speaker baffle in the combo to go from 1x12 to 2x10, love it with the 10s now.

This is the latest incarnation of my rig.

Throughout the years, the only pieces that have stuck around are the Orange cab, TOL100 and a few Ibanez guitars. I've had Rocktrons, Marshalls, Oranges, Line 6s, a whole bunch of Mesas, a couple of Bad Cats and endless modellers.

Recently I bought a Les Paul and bought into MTS (I've been meaning to for a long time) and my whole guitar world is flipped upside-down. Sold all but one Ibanez, bought a Tribal Flying V and started on the mod collection.

Everyone is right. It's an addiction. But one that I'm more than happy to support. I've only just started but I can foresee this is going to be a serious process.

He he looks nice: I just started to buy in as well so we will see where we stand in a year... :D

I tried hooking up both my rack and head for a wet-dry-wet set-up... then things went sideways and I ended up with an a/b parallel rig instead.
