I was wondering if anybody had ever made a Laney sounding module? I would love to have a module that does Vol.4 and/or Sabotage type sounds! 8)

I barked up that tree a while back. However, i have found that a plexi module and a rangemaster do the trick pretty nicely.

The details of the old Sabbath tone is so liked to the Supergroup/Klipp, I have a hard time getting it right with a Marshall box.

The Catalinbread guys got real close with their Sabbra Cadabra but it still lakes the "tube" response and feel (they used JFet in place of tubes) ... a MTS module would be ideal.

I know the history.
But, if someone out there will make one then sign me up for another. I have not been so fortunate in trying to get one on my own.

Or you can track down one of these:

I did look into those a couple years ago. As far I know (and could find out) the Valve Klipper is no longer made, in fact very few were ever made.

A friend of mine has one and it sounds pretty good. That said, with "amp pedals" the end result is always dependent on the amp you go through.
An MTS module would probably be more consistent.

I might be interested in having a module done ...

For heavy music I picked up a Verellen Meatsmoke Pre and it is pretty amazing.
The cleans on it are really good as well. They're a little on the dark side, but I prefer them that way. I hardly even play my MTS mods anymore. I am sure that will change but right now the Verellen is my go to.
