I need to add some Mesa tones to my rig. What is the difference between the Recto and Rectified modules? Is one generally regarded as superior to the other or is it simply a matter of horses for courses?

One is later and has slightly different value on input circuit.

I wouldn't waste money on either but look for a good deal on a Lynch Grail instead.....somewhere in the $low $100 range.

You can mod a Recto/Rectified to Grail specs but the Lynch one is the best base Rectifier tone *IN MY OPINION.*

That's assuming you don't want to step up to a fully rework JF Erect or similar. (usually well over $200 used)

Can the JF Erect mod be done on either the Recto or Rectified?
