Which clean did you pick over the Super Clean?
JF custom Twin was my pick.
Super Clean is the cleanest, Twin is that Fender clean tone (VERY clean or pushed), Texas Special breaks up easier.
FWIW the 3 mods are pretty cool and can be set almost identical, it comes down to personal preference.

We play a lot of Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler. I've tried various "clean" modules but I always keep coming back to my stock Randall Clean. Using the neck pickup on my Strat, I can get Knopfler's tone right on.

Texas Special is a really cool and unique mod with a TON of tone options!
It sounds unlike any other MTS mod. Great cleans, but is surprisingly good at gain tones too. You'll have a lot of fun playing around with all of the different tones available to you on this one.
