would anyone like to share any ideas on how to get more of a recto sound when the mid switch is thrown?or with or without it either way. also, where is that post on changing a resistor at v1 on a rt2/50 to get a fuller richer sound?

Resurrection time. I found teh 1086 to be closer in tone to my triple rec than the Grail, or any other module I've tried. So what can be done to close the gap?

Well..... you do have to compensate for the common first gainn stage; and slightly lower V+.

But I like mine a lot better with a correction on last coupling parts to the last gain stage. The correct slope resistor might help too..
