Hi Taipan
It's ok, I don't mind it for a mid - hi gain Marshallish rhythm, that being said as a lead channel I can cut thru a bands mix very easy with it. Bugger all bottom end, mids are strong and the highs can be a little shrill if you scoop the mids, tons of gain. I just got a pair of Eminece Super Vs for my 412 and a rm50combo cheap from cashies so I'm curious to see how that goes with them. But it doesn't really sing for me as of yet. Take everything I say with a grain of salt I've only had a ultra lead and a modded tread plate to compare in the mts world (waiting on a snakebite in the mail) but I have a DSL which I like a lot less if that gives you any idea.

Hope that was somewhat coherent and helpful

Perfectly understandable
So not much bottom end with the Mr Scary? ..that's interesting

DSL's can sound good but I find them a bit thin for my tastes

I like my tone fat and meaty ......like a good steak LOL
Dont know where that description came from ......but seems about right

Yeah I think if you want steak then this isn't the module you want. Not real big on DSLs either but a good genericish tone for comparison.
