Wampler Ego Compressor

Guys,
I've been trying out different clean boost pedals for the last year with varying degrees of success. Tonight I put this Wampler Ego Compressor in front of my RM4 and my tone grew Tony Iommi balls! :twisted:

I used to run a compressor at all times. First a modded boss then a tube Black Finger. Always liked the boost and juice it gave me. been thinking about that Keeley 5 knobber.

Oh and AFTER the compressor, a clean boost with just about 2 to 3 dB. AH! 8)

Does the Ego have much effect on the tone with the Blend knob so low?

I love the Ego Compressor to date it's still my favorite comp pedal, mines been in my pedalboard/collection for about four-five years which is saying something not many pedals remain staples for that long
