I'm have 2 RM50's, as I much prefer their weight to the RM100 models, but they lack the Midi inputs.

If I run the G Major through the effects loop, and use a midi foot controller, like a FCB1010. Can I control my patches, including channel switch on the amp thru the FCB1010?

(I've never used a midi setup before)

The FCB1010 has two relay switches so you can program it to change channels on non-midi amps. You just need to tell the unit to switch the effects unit to patch 23 and the amp to channel 2 on the press of button 5.

It will require that you run two cables from the FCB, midi for the G Major and one for the amp.

I believe the G Major also has latching relays to change channels on non-midi amps, so you may be able to run one midi cable to the effects unit and write your patches to include amp channel changes
