My stock Plexi module has run into some problems again. The treble EQ is behaving like a low pass filter and the gain and volume are all over the place.

Before the breakage, this was my go-to sound. I'm considering just getting repaired, but after being a member here for years and following the modding scene, I wonder if it's time to get it customized.

If I decide to just keep it stock, should I take it to my local tech (Randall authorized service center), or would it be best to send it out to one of the MTS specialists I've seen on the forums over the years? What would you recommend?

I've also got a 'Modern' module that just sounds terrible. Definitely going to have to mod that to make it sound decent I'm thinking.

Talk to Rob at Jaded Faith - he can fix it or mod it for you - he's a nice guy too, always happy to talk through the options with you on the phone!

If it's broken and you are thinking about modding it the repairs are included in the mod price. A simple Base Mod for $109 can maintain all that you love about the Plexi and make it all you wish it was for minimal price. If you don't cafe about custom cosmetics and added bells and whistles, it's a great value.

Well, I just received my Plexi back from the local tech and of course it's not fixed at all.

I'll be reaching out to you, Rob, this next week.

Thanks guys!
