Midi 7 pin to 5 pin

Hi All,

I wanna hook up my T2 to a Behringer FCB1010 to make full use of the midi in/thru feature, but problem being that the FCB is a 5 pin and the T2 is a 7 pin connection, is there a converter in existence to downward convert from 7 to 5 pin?

You don't have to worry about getting a converter. The extra two pins are to supply power to the footswitch that comes w/ the T2. The FCB1010 will change channels on the T2 just fine w/ a 5 pin DIN cable.
 
Hi,

Thanks for that. What I mean though, is the pedal board is a 5 pin connection and the other is a 7 pin, so I would need to have a match on each end since the T2 is a 7 pin connection and a 5 pin connection will not fit that socket, equally a 7 pin will not fit a 5 pin socket...

Unless of course I am missing something and the 5 pins do fit the 7 pin sockets..
