V2 direct rec. output?

Hey guys... does anyone use or have any experience with direct rec. output on V2.... Is it well made? What is the sound? I would try it but at the moment I have no access to studio rec. equipment...professional nor amateur.
Anyone?
 
I think the tone is like a SM57 set towards the outside edgeof the speaker. It can be a little warmer than a mic would sound so you may need to add some upper midrange. I like the way the Mic Eliminator sounds, but I really think it excels when used live or in the studio w/ a mic on the cab as well mixed in.
