Hmm...sounds darker than when I had it dialed in the other day..maybe I reduced the treble or maybe it's the camera little more off axis..unlikely since it's capturing a lot of room in there.

..really happy with my rig right now. Prolly could've spent a little more time playing something meaningful but hey :D

Took the youtube version away since it screws up a ton of the frequencies and adds aliasing distortion to boot.

I love the tone...thick as anything with my Gibson Goth LP....am a gonna put up another clip shortly...hopefully with some decent riffage on :D

Sure....here's the signal chain

Gibson Gothic LP (stock PUs) -> HBE Power Screamer (level 1 o'clock..virtually no gain, tone around 10:30) -> ISP decimator -> RM50HB (TAD 6L6 GCSTR 33mA) -> Grail module -> Hotplate (-8dB) -> Randall MTS 4x12 at 16Ohm (2xG12H230 + 2xV30)

I'll put up a pic of the amp settings shortly...I run 12axc9 pre-amp tubes in the Grail....best tubes for this module IMO...waaaay better than the stock EHs.

I have a ton of pedals on my board...so losing a fair amount of high end.

To be fair, that guitar sounds good plugged into everything for high gain...it's just a monster.

If your having fun who cares!I really like the tone of that paul in the first set!Are you getting this crazy rain up there?Oh it still sounds killer :D

Rained for days..gonna rain 'til Friday...can't rain all the time.

Hopefully going to catch some snow at the weekend, so I don't mind too much :D

You can get a Youtube account for free....simple upload from my little Kodak camera.

The better sounding clips I'm hosting on my .mac account using the simple Homepage publisher provided by Apple.

Unless you meant UL&K as in ... you really think it sounds like that???

Then yes it has certain qualities heard in the rythm tracks recorded on that album.

Right...well, maybe some qualities of that tone..but Mr Scary module gets a lot closer to that IMO :D
