XTC or 1086 or KH3. Which One?

I never tried the original Ultra. I used a Ultra XL for a while and it was KILLER!!! Tight and heavy!! But I always go back to the 1086. Loving that one for really heavy stuff!

i have all 3 and like the kh-3 esp for lead and heavy bluesy **** like metallica on load. The mids rip through the mix. It is the best for live playing. for rythm and scooped thunder, i like the grail. the xtc is good for lead but that's about all. the 1086 kind of does what the grail and kh-3 do with each mid voicing but neither are as good as the grail or kh. the 1086 is a bit too fuzzy but has good punch and is a good module. the kh has the most personality.

my current set up is grail, 1086 and kh-3 though i've yet to play them all loud together in the same set up but i'll get to this week so 8)

I can't wait to pick up a 1086. So many high gain modules, so little time!
