I'm to convert my SL+ to an SL (that's all they had). I will here go through the components mounted on the pcb(s) and if you got an SL you can just fill me in on any difference in components. Thanx in advance!

Raiser card, left to right:
R1 100k
C1 470

Left of valves/ tubes:
C3 472
R9 3.3M
R11 470k
C4 None
R13 None
R21 None
R8 1M
R10 1k
C1 Unknown capacitor
C2 None

Between valves:
C8 None
C12 None
R24 None
R25 100k
C11 100
C9 022
C10 None
R26 470k
R28 470k
C6 None
C7 0.68uF
C13 22uF
R17 2.7k
R29 1k
R30 100k
R31 33k
R1 None

Right of valves:
C15 Unknown
R4 1k
R33 220k
R36 3.3M
R34 10k

Other components appear to be standard for all 1ch boards. I also have a Randy Plexi as reference, for what ever good that may do me.

Cheers,
Jonas

Whats better, to you, about the SL over the SL+?
Less gain?

Just curious.

Joe
Cheers man. I guess I forgot to mention that is the Eggie SL and SL+. I want to make it sound like a Marshall Plexiglass; I'm looking for an Eric Johnson kind of sound and I bought the SL+ with conversion in mind.

A more apropriate question might be: Why convert the SL+ when you got a Randy Plexi? I want the full dynamics to come through and if I make the Eggie fit my liking maybe I will try and convert the Randy to Eggie specs.
