On the tube OD channel with the gain and channel volume at noon I'm getting some pretty significant white noise. I have no guitar plugged in, and the EQ and FX loops are off. Adding a noise gate in front or in the loop does not alleviate the problem at all, so it's definately coming from the power section.
It's also EXTREMELY prone to feedback. I have a frickin iSP Decimator pedal in the loop (set for series) and it won't shut the amp up at gig/practice volumes (master around noon). Unless I set it ridiculously high, of course, and then it's actually so stiff that it reduces my gain and volume slightly.
What gives? I'm having a hard time believing Bruce Egnater would design such a noisy power section. : :x
