Can you power these with a solid state amp? I have one is why im asking from Pa gear.. i understand tube is perferred. Im new to this stuff. Thanks!

I play a ole randall RH100 now, Im allready a randall nutt!

No reason why you can't power the RM4 with a solid state amp.

I got my RM4 with a Randall R2/200 solid state poweramp and it is INSANELY loud!!

I think it's basically the power section of the amps Dime designed with Randall.

I have no problem with it other than it being insanely loud....

It will work fine

Definately would work. Since that amp is a guitar amp the power section is probably "voiced" a little beter than a P.A type SS power amp. I had to do this a while back at practice and I used one of those new Ibanez solid state amps. It sounded pretty good. The Randall RH 100 amp even has an effects level control. Set all your volumes at 12 o'clock, plug the output of the RM4 into the return of the efects loop and adjust the level till it sounds right. Then just tune up the volumes and tones on the RM4 till you hear what you like.

Ready to rock!
