I'm trying to look at mine here... I can see the #'s:

P102 J
630 H

Does this mean .001u?

Would there be any advantage of putting an orange drop of the same value in it's place? Any tonal differences between the orange drops and stock caps?

thanks guys!

First two numbers are the value, the next # is multiplier/power of 10 (2 = 100) in pF.. so you have 10x100 = 1000pf = 0.001uf

J = tolerance (don't remember off top of my head but it's probably +/-10%)

630 is the voltage.

I think I prefer Orange Drops to the stock brown or blue (poly? mica?) caps...there is a subtle difference between ceramic, silver mica etc.

..only way is to try it and see. I just swapped the stock .0022 in my KH2 for an OD...though I'm not convinced I can tell the difference in that one... ;)
