SALVATION 1666 mod

Hallo guys.

Another modification done.
It is hotrodded 1086, named 1666.
It has added gain and aggressivity, sound is massive and brutal.
Gain boost renamed to GAIN BEAST - on low gain setting there is amount of gain similar to 1086 higher gain setting.
On higher gain setting is a lot more of gain, clear and articulate.
Mid voicing renamed to MAD VOICING - I found second (right) position on original 1086 useless, so entire frequency range of that switch was shifted. Now I am sure that both settings are pretty usefull.
Added Noise gate option.

I like the name. The faceplate is much nicer than that fugly stock one as well.

looks promising...i dislike the stock 1086 (that scoop side is useless), buty it seems to be a good platform for modding

We did two the same sounclips with only one difference- different setting of Mid Voicing switch.
We want to show you that now BOTH settings are pretty usefull.

That sounds awesome Anthony.....you really have some talented people recording for you......the sounds keep getting better and better...

BTW.......no one in my house is allowed to have a tattoo......not even my dog... :lol:

It is a truly gorgeous faceplate.

The clips do sound pretty brutal. Were the knobs dialed like they are in the picture?

Ii would venture to say that while it may be versatile, if you're not into the brutality then perhaps another mod is more appropriate

I don't have any Tattoo gigs but I'd like to get one if they're into this tone!

i mean...christ sakes its the one 666 man...i think crankyhanky has the idea. It is a for brutality.
