I was thinking, so much modification can be done to the preamp modules, and we have the MM trannies, sturdier fuses, and multiple tube combinations, but what about the circuitry?
I know there's already a thread on a certain amp mod, but what are some places in the heads where you might put a different cap for a wilder or more boutique sound? I've heard a lot about Red Wima coupling caps being used somewhere between the preamp and the power amp (not of the MTS, but different amps)... is there something like this we might be able to do on our amps?
