Hey guys,
My VHT 2/50/2 FINALLY came today!!! I only got to play for like 20 minutes but DUDE, this thing has BALLS!!! I had a really bad headache after work today so I couldn't play it loud for very long! I was running it at about 10 o'clock but MAN this thing sounds great, even after such a short run! I don't have my patch cables yet but I am looking forward to running more pedals through it too just too see how it works out. Funny enough the blackface seems to like my pedals more than the TopBoost thus far? Also, running an OD as a boost through the Plexi like Zakk Wylde seems to produce less gain than the 1086? I don't know if it was just because I didn't play around with it enough, but even so most settings once tweaked sounded AWESOME with the VHT. I'm glad I went with it!
Thanks for the good advice John C! :wink: I'll take some pictures tomorrow while it's still light out, and once I get a mic/recording software I'll try to make up some clips! 8)
