v2 set up

I have a krank amp the krankenstein. AND with a tube head you have to push the master volume up most of the way like to 7 and then adjust the pre amp at a good sound. How would you guys go about setting up a a v2 master and pre amp?

How is the krankenstein anyway, is it as good as they say it is?

yea the krank is bad as **** but the gain is something they need to work on. Very dry gain hard to even do any lead stuff or complex riffs with it. All said its the best tube on the market even at that price
