Yo San Diego and So-Californicators,

We're all rev'ed up for our CD-release concert at beatiful San Diego State Univeristy's Smith Hall with the special guest on our recent album, Mr. Jerry Goodman -- known for his landmark electric violin work with the Mahavishnu Orchestra and, more recently, with the Dixie Dregs. There is a rumor we may be filming and recording the show...Ya baby, YA!

For the amazing price of FREE, the show will only cost you some temporary threshold loss. We really hope you can make it out to join us in a celebration of our new album, The Great American Road Trip which is a top-seller at Abstract Logix and consistently in the top 20 of the Philadelphia and New Jersey Progressive Radio show, The Gagliarchives. The band will be doing an on-air interview about the album and the concert on Friday, Dec 8th on WCSB Cleveland's The Fusion Show, hosted by Randy Allar starting at 1:00pm Central.

In the mix: Hectic Watermelon takes all that is good from progressive rock, metal, jazz, bluegrass and alternative music and turns it into something better. The self-described ?post-Zappa, commando-fusion? band is young(ish) and hungry and just pushed itself a step further by releasing a new CD, The Great America Roadtrip, which will convince even the most single-genre-minded music fan that fusion can be fun. Hectic Watermelon is celebrating its CD release in a concert with Jerry Goodman at the San Diego State University Smith Recital Hall at 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14.
