RH50T Problem!

Hi, I have one problem: the input level of the amp is much to high, both "low" and "high" impedacy inputs produces slightly distorted sound on "clean" channel, with boost enabled its becomes almos comlete overdriven. Of course the same is about overdrive channels, the amp has much to much gain whit gain knob set to 50%. I have Ibanez RG1570 guitar with standard Ibanez pickups V7 and V8 without any modifications etc... The only solution for me now is use a volume knob on my guitar but its not very comfortable, especially during some live gigs, its also not very accurate. Can I solve it somehow?
