Plexi question

Hello,

I'm just curious if others Plexi module is like this or if something is up with mine. It seems that no matter where I set the settings compared to my XTC the Plexi just doesn't come close to the gain/volume output.

For instance I'll have my XTC module's level at like 2 o'clock and the same with the Plexi and my master volume set around 10/11 and it seems like the Plexi is half the sound output and I have to run a distortion pedal to get any heavy gain with it. Even when I crank the Plexi level all the way up from the 2 o'clock setting it still isn't much of a difference.

Any input/suggestions?

Plexi isn't a heavy gain amp more like classic rock -AC/DC, Hendrix, etc. Your not going to get the gain match with the XTC.

To match volume maybe roll back the XTC. You really just want the volumes to be consistant when you switch between the channels.

Maybe there's a resistor or a capacitor that would take care of that for you. Mind you'll get more of a metal style module after the conversion.
