Chuck Schuldiner's Randalls?
Would anybody happen to know what model Randalls Chuck used back in the day? I've heard the Warhead, but I'm not quite sure... I believe he used Randalls before that amp was even released and was using the VS 8100 around the Warhead's era.

Nah, everywhere says he used Randalls for a while before he got the Valvestate, and his tone is nothing like what you would get out of a Roland IMO. Sounds like the Valvestate clips I've heard (with a DiMarzio X2N of course).
But that's his later tone on like ITP and Symbolic. I think before human (or maybe during Human too) his tone was a bit different, more chunky and growly like a Randall.

I beg to differGuitarGod87 wrote:I just read his WIKI and it did state that he used Randall early in his career. Look up the amp line for that time era. Wiki doesn't lie, lol

Re: Chuck Schuldiner's Randalls?
I think I remember seeing a video where he was using a Randall RG100ES head during a soundcheck or during rehearsal. I'm going to see if I can dig it up.Shinozoku wrote:Would anybody happen to know what model Randalls Chuck used back in the day? I've heard the Warhead, but I'm not quite sure... EDIT: Indeed, it is a Randall RG100ES, heres the video (11 seconds in)
