Hello all, I'm new to the MTS world and tube amps in general.
I just (about a week ago) got my RM50 with Recto (470 C3) and Ultra. Love it so far. I actually wanted a Blackface, unfortunately, the store I went to was out so I took the Recto instead. So the question is, what is the best module for cleans? I'm interested in eventually building up to an Egnater set-up either as a head or combo+stack, so the Egnater modules are fair suggestions.
Also, with the Recto, it seems like there is quite a bit missing from the tone in the upper mid-range. Will the cap mod help this? I know the cap mod will filter out quite a bit of the lows (which are way too much even with bass at 9 oclock), but will this help balance the over-all sound, or is that just the Recto tone? I've never played a real rectifier so I have nothing to compare it to.
