Module compatability - Egnaters in a Randall Head?

Can you use the Egnater Modules in the Randal MTS Heads???

Yep, but you can only access the first channel on the dual channel modules.

I don't own any of the Egnater stuff, but from what I've read, I don't believe they sell for much less than full list price when buying new.

Hrm... at $400, I would want to get both channels. Oh well. I have NO complaints on the modules I have right now anyway.

You can find used single channel Egnater modules on ebay now and then as well.

Bruce and Frank will still make you a new single channel module. I just received two a month or so back.

You should contact them for pricing. They will fix you up. I will just say it was "around" $300 or so.

Say - while I have your virtual ear... what mods can be done to:

1) Make the Tweed module a lot less flabby when the gain is over 50% (even with the bass cut)?

2) Same with the Deluxe module... it gets flabby at about 70% gain - right when the bite is about right. It's a nice, robust clean for jazz. I'd like it to have a little more crunch and less flubber though.

3) The Brown module has a rich distortion, but lacks the edge I like... are there mods for it?

I'm LOVIN' the Plexi and Top Boost modules (stock). Excellent as-is.
