If your into heavier music and havent heard this band, do so now. My favorite heavy band (and generally speaking, I dont really care for bands of this genre). A bunch of good live stuff on youtube.

I have been handed a cd of theirs a few years back. I checked it out and they do their job of what they are trying to achieve, I just think I have others I appreciate more. No offense its just my opinion. Everyone should give them a listen though! :)

Hate to sound like the typical elitist fanboy but...

They went downhill after Come Clarity. Big time.

First song I ever heard by them:

A definite favourite after listening to more of their back catalog:

The Jester Race is amazing. I love all of their albums up to Clayman. I like Come Clarity and a few off of Soundtrack...especially The Quiet Place. The new song sounds ok. Hopefully the rest of the album isn't too bad.

I pretty much like all the albums, but "A Sense of Purpose" is my fav.

Their new disk drops June 21.

There's so many of these bands with great riffs, who can't sing and just scream.
Unfortunately, that just completely ruins the music for me.

I'm with ya, on the vocal bit... That's probably the only part I'd want changed about the band... but, it's not up to me... so, it is what is.

12 years ago I heard the Jester Race for the first time and have been a fan ever since. Man Made God is probably my favorite track. I don't know about the new album, but only because it's different. I love how Bjorn is the driving guitar force, he's awesome. Yeah, I know Jesper IS In Flames but hell. I dig it for what it is. A Sense of Purpose is a great album to ease people into IF, Clarity to keep them here, and all **** Clayman and prior to turn them rabid. my $.02
