Just wanted to see what the "wah of choice" is for modular rigs, knowing well in advance that there won't be one answer. :)

I've tried a bunch of options over the years, and my most recent setup has been to use a Crybaby 95Q and Morley Bad Horsie together. Always liked the switchless design idea. I've found that the Bad Horsie is more suited to "lead wah" work, while the 95Q delivers the classic "porno-funk" clean tone.

Would love to get down to one super-versatile wah (switchless or not) on the pedalboard... have been eyeing the Teese RMC3 and Fulltone Clyde Deluxe recently, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

i have a 535q by dunlop that covers all the bases very well. Its really trick looking special copper edition.

I've had every wah under the sun, the RMC3 was about the most versatile I ever encountered...but I kept setting it to sound like a picture wah anyway. So I bought a picture wah and haven't looked back since, the wizard wah is also nice for higher gain stuff.

Having looked at the RMC3 manual last night, I'm thinking it will be one of those pieces of equipment I spend far more time tweaking than playing. So now the RMC2 is looking a little more appealing from a relative simplicity standpoint.

This may sound dumb, but one feature I really like on the Clyde Deluxe is the LED indicator... I think part of the reason I got into the switchless wahs to begin with was because I could guarantee it was either on or off. Are there any other switched wahs out there with LED indicators, or would it be hard to mod an exisitng wah to install an LED? (ah, so many questions)

I use a Vox Clyde wah and really like it. I'm sure it will get a true bypass mod soon though.
