Tell me about the Brown module

Just about everybody out there has and raves about the Plexi. To be honest, it has taken me quite a while to get what I wanted out of the Plexi module (had to do the cap mod for one thing).

Hardly anybody, however, talks about the Brown module. I know it's supposed to be a modified version of the Plexi, and it has more gain that the Plexi...but how does it really sound? How are the tone and gain characteristics different from the Plexi?

I'd appreciate anybody's thoughts/experiences with the Brown module.

Brown's one of my favorite modules... it's warmer, thicker and more mid-heavy than the Plexi tone. I find it suitable for both rhythm work and a fat solo tone. Depending on your tastes, you may find that it benefits from the mods as well.
