Hello ,
I'm new to this forum. I'm originally an Ampager for for the last ten years and been a tube amp guy for the last 15 years. For those that are not familar with Ampage, its a tube amp and guitar site where amp modders, builders and repair techs talk and exchange amp info.
the site is http://music-electronics-forum.com//home.php

Anyway I wanted to ask what randall amp head George Lynch used in his recordings from the early mid or later 80's?

Also are there any new Randall amps that have that Dokken guitar tone and distortion other than the Lynch Box?

Thanks

I think it was the rg100.
I'm trying to fix my solid state Warhead X2. Do you think the folks at your board would help a n00b?
I'll throw a link on rig-talk.com for you.

Hello Mitch,
Try the repair forum at Ampage. There is guy called Enzo that does repair for some of the big amp and little amp companies. Most likely he has a schem to the Warhead amp but also post the question of the problem too as Enzo is really good at fixing amps and has vast knowledge of breakdowns and the fixes. Here is the link to the repair page,

BTW, thanks for the info on the RG100. I've been talking to a guy that also was telling me a big part of the RG100 sound is in using the Randall Jaguar cabint with the Jaguar speakers to get that tone. Dimebag used the Jaquar cabs in the early days as supposed Lynch did too.

Thanks again

Awesome, thanks for the reply. Randall won't answer my emails regarding the schematics :(.
I bought a jaguar loaded 4x12 from the early 90s off of a forum member a couple years back. I'll never get rid of it .
