Carvin Legacy II

Ive been reading up and listening and watching video's and with everything ive seen it doesnt really crank out the metal tone that i like i really like it for playing leads but my question to everyone who has played one is can i really do metal rthyum very well too? I am also looking at the Carvin V3 which has alot of great reviews and ive heard some killer tone for all kinds of music but really acceled at high gain.

In early December, I bought a Carvin Legacy 3. In my experience, it was the darkest, muddiest amp I've ever played. Also, the footswitch cable kept coming loose from the head's vibration. The clean channel was nice, but unremarkable.

I think Carvin makes great guitars, but so-so amps.
