Looking to engineer a new pedal. One that momentarily captures a guitar signal and trails off in various ways. The signal would be captured only while the pedal switch in depressed. Various trails could be: Fade out, Echo, delays, stutter....etc.
Basically to help out rack units that dont handle spillover well...
Any thoughts?

Got design experience, but no electrical engineering background.
