I love mine ,Huge low end and well built ,I put Celestion v30 speakers in mine since I play mainly heavy/metal music and like those speakers better !!! Good price !!!
I ran a Mesa Tverb through one for a while and got great results. Huge sounding for a 2x12. Interestingly enough I hated my Mesa Dual Rec through it. Too bright no matter what I did. So to me it liked darker amps.
I took a brand new 4x12 in on a trade a while back. It was a cool cab, but a total one-trick pony. It would be good paired with the right amp and playing heavy stuff. The mids were amiss for my tastes, it was about 150lbs and I found I had no use for it at all. I wound up trading it in this Fall towards an all original 1979 Marshall 1960A and have not a single regret.
