Voodoo UG with custom faceplate, two internal trim pots, current voicing and three way stage toggle. Here is what Trace told me in an email about the toggle when I asked about the volume difference among the modes:
"What you are describing is called a Gain "Mode" switch and this is far more common on our Custom HG-Jose Mod we perform on Marshall amp heads. There are very few modules that this (I can count them on one hand). This is the from the Quick Start Guide for the Custom HG-Jose Mod for a Marshall amp head;
3-Position Gain "Mode" Mini-Toggle Switch
#3 - Highest level of saturated gain
#2 - Lowest level of gain (vintage mode)
#1 - Medium level of gain (more gain then #2 and less gain then #1)
Note - The lower gain modes are louder in volume by design. IE: This is normal"
