This is a demo of a song I recorded for a album that I plan on putting out this summer. I used a Egnater M4 with a Friedman HBE Module on the guitar tracks. Let me know what you think.

Strictly from a production/mix standpoint:

1. The bass guitar is at least 3db too loud in the mix.
2. The intro guitar is either clipping or way over-compressed because it's clicking. It sounds like the attack is too quick and release is too slow.
3. The the rhythm guitar is out of tune before the solo.
4. The snare, toms and cymbals are way too far back in the mix.

If you're using a 2 buss compressor or a Loudness Maximizer type of plugin, be sure to check the mix pre and post of that plugin/hardware.

I hope this helps!

Good tune! Cant go wrong with the Friedman tones...good choice there :D

Excellent tune, really dig it. I also loved Mike P's comments - incredibly valuable guidance there.

Sounds a bit like Smile Empty Soul.

There are some really expressive vocal lines in there.
