I would say just less volume on the hat. I like the real drums though! I am tired of over processed music. This kind of stuff is refreshing.

Suphuckers?

Still just screwing around, but getting closer and closer each time to a real try at it... Still don't have enough gear and still don't know how to use it.

Sounds pretty damn good to me. I wish I had invested a bit more time/$ on recording stuff, I have no idea wtf I'm doing in that realm. I'm lucky I'm able to hit record on my iPhone or Tascam. Sad I say, overall, well done.

Thanks for all the information and, yes, I probably do have an amp just sitting here that I could sell to finance an entire recording rig. Confused The biggest problem is I'm not sure I could figure it all out and I'd just have something else sitting here and then I'd just have something sitting here that I can't use. Laughing I've been thinking about some sort of recording rig for the past 2-3 years, but it scares the bejeebers out of me.

Sounds great Suphuckers! Getting better every time.

Drew - I have a cheap interface like he does (mine is an MAudi I got from best buy for like $100), and use Reaper for the DAW (it's free to use forever, but encouraged to pay for it at some point. It's only $60.. And works as well as any big $ DAW). Grab a used SM57 from GuitarCenter.com, and your in business for about $150. It's super easy to set up & use...

I have an SM57!

Biggest problem, I threw my XP laptop away a year ago and I'm trying not to invest in another one for home.

I have a POS laptop (that I saved from the trash) that I use for a DAW. Every once in a while it just turns off and flashes a little. It can be scary when it happens lmao.

I use Ableton https://www.ableton.com/en/live/new-in-9/

Which Ableton product do you use?

Is Reaper as full featured? I should probably start off with ?free? anyway?

Any insight from anyone would be appreciated.

Drew, I don't know this person but they are selling the same interface I use and it's a great deal:
