Below is a link to four tracks labeled A, B, C and D.
Each is the same, short demo track with a different
guitar recording on each.
Which is your favorite?
What do you like or not like about the guitar tones?
The song is just something I threw together for trying
some new recording techniques. It's nothing more than
content for the experiments.
Thanks for your time.

A. Had a softer feel to it, where the layers really came through stronger together. It was warm and full sounding.

B. Was bolder, bassier, but had a bit too much punch to it, that had the layers lost in the mix. It was bigger, but not necessarily stronger overall.

C. Definately has more mids and treble that come out in the mix more. It's on part with A in terms of the sound and layers. It's just not as warm and full.

My vote is for A.

A - Marshall Plexi/JTM 45 to me. Most "normal", balanced and classic sounding.
B - Gravely and a little fizzy, like a recto playing classic rock.
C - More modern/80's. Marshall sounding, like a Splawn mod. Plenty of bass, with a tighter feel compared to A.
D - Marshall-ish to me but with a different EQ, lacking a little bass. Maybe an Orange/5150/Soldano style. Compressed maybe to my ears.

My vote is A or C
