For sale here is my minty fresh JF Chiefton. This may be the first (and only, except for M. Plas's demo unit?) Chiefton out there. I feel kinda bad selling this as it was built for me by Rob to help make up for a lost package containing a module that I sent to him for repair a few months ago... But, I was really after a Marshall JTM/Plexi kinda flavor for that slot, and I grabbed a Duoplex a couple weeks ago, and it fits that bill perfectly!
In any case, this mod is in excellent condition, and just nails the Matchless Chieftain tones! This mod is extremely versatile - can do everything from nice warm, chimey AC30-ish tones to JCM800 type OD tones. Just super versatile, and very true to the Chieftain. If you want to know what it sounds like, just check out some Chieftain demos, you'll find the same tones here. There is just too much similarity/crossover to my TWox and Vybe Deluxe and the only reason I'm selling, as it sounds (and feels) great!
