So I love Salvation Mods. I haven't bought one yet, however. I am brand new to all this MTS stuff, so I have no clue how most of it works. I know the basics of how the MTS modules relate to their respective chassis, but what I want to know is, what chassis/heads are similar to the RM4 in the vein of holding up to 4 different modules? I'm looking to be a collector but I don't want to have to have a head for every one or two modules. I'm interested in used RM4s, but still want to know some current alternatives. Also, does anyone know or can link me to someplace to learn how to make a 4-slot chassis for MTS modules?

You can link RM4s together very easily....There are 1250 amps that hold 12 modules and has a 50 watt tube power section but they're not always easy to find....For a collector who wants to house modules, those are your best options....
