SYN001 or 002 bypass: pedal friendly?

Post by Bucksears » Tue Oct 24, 2017 8:13 am

There are a small handful of dirt/fuzz pedals that I'm just not going to give up. And as much as I've tried, I still can't get those pedals to sound good through my Egnater T/D or BMAN modules (set clean) in my MOD50.

Looking at a couple of modern amps (i.e. with an effects loop) that have pedal-friendly clean channels, how well does the SYN001 or 002 bypass so you can utilize the host's clean?
I know it's a bit of a stretch since the modules are getting such rave reviews just for their sound alone, but have to ask.

Thanks
