Post by keg8605 » Tue Oct 24, 2017 3:12 pm

Thought a thread containing all the Synergy Demo's might be of good use. Heading to his youtube page is easy as well of course. Great Demos

Metropolous and TDX are the ones that stand out to me currently.. a lot of overlap in tones across 800-BE- even the SLO. I have a myasnikov SLO pre that covers the SLO territory anyway and i think the Scary did a reasonable job of that..

I agree with you
Out of the cleans I like the Twin Deluxe
And Morgan
The Marshall mods were all very similar IMO
I actually liked the Metroplex and the 800
For HIgain it would be the SLO although the DZL
Could be a great hi gainer if they had got the gain above 4

Also agree, while all sounded really good, there is a lot of overlap, and i was hoping to see what module could go really hi-gain (i.e. the Diezel). My top list now (although it's a tough choice), would be the MetroPlex, SLO, Diezel, and a Friedman (thought the BE was better than the HBE, but i might need the gain of the HBE so on the fence..and i liked the Metroplex better than the DS for lower gain stuff), and for clean the Morgan (i would keep my Randall Blackface i think so i would probably hold off on a clean right now). They probably built the Plexi and the 800 before they got some of the official people on board so unless they discount those i'd be suprised if they had tons of sales (especially the plexi).
Synergy: Syn-2, SLO, Metroplex
Randall: JTM, Clean, Blackface
Egnater: EG2
Strymon Flint and Mobius, TC Triple Delay, JHS Andy Timmons, Kemper, Ventris, Koko Boost, Carl Martin AT Compressor, Proanalog MKIV Fuzz, Ibanez TS9dx

I think the Demos are great! The Bassman, Morgan and HBE stand out for me, though I. Agree about high gain overlap, and think the Diezel should have been pushed harder. Need to see the Guitar stool vids. Major GAS for the Syn-2.
Don't call it a comeback.
Mod 50 Dual W/ Bassman, Vox, EG3/4 & VH4(on the way!)
Bruno Underground 30, Fuchs ODS, KOMET K60 Bad Cat Cub 15, Vintage 66 Vibroluxe Reverb & Deluxe Reverb, THD Univalve.

Love all his demos but his playing style not suited to what many would ne buying the Diezel for maybe?
