Hi. I'm new here and I have a randall and blah and blah and blah...:p

anyways..I have asked this on the ESP forum but haven't got a good answer yet. I have a T2 head and a bunch of pedals to give me the different sounds I want. I've decided to save up for some gear (midi) that can control my amp and some of the pedals at the same time. the question is: If I hooked up the stuff like this GCP > GCX > MiDi IN , would the units "discover" the different channels on the amp then and make it possible to switch channels on the head? Thanks for answers:)

If you mean "discover" as in the ground control will just make it happen like it knows whats attached. That is not the case at all. You have to setup the GCP to send the correct commands that correlate to the heads channels. The same goes with the gcx.

The manuals are pretty good for the gcx and gcp. I suggest going to the site and downloading them. It will become clear with there examples
