It might be an impedence matching problem. If you have the manual for the AKG read the info on it. Randall's manual has no mention of it's input impedence "however I just got my amp today

I've had mine a few days.
Found that if I set the wireless transmitter to line level and crank it, and then cut the volume on the recieving unit, it works pretty well with the Randall. have to try it at a gig, but it was much better than before.Pete
