Tube preference in KH3?

I have my KH3 up for sale, but keep thinking to myself there must be some combination of tubes to get me where I want with this module.

I currently have the stock JJecc83s in it and have tried:

Tung Sol reissues
Chinese 9th gens
Chinese 8th gens
JJ ecc803
GE low gain in v1



No combination of the above is doing it for me yet.


What is your preference in this module?


Anyone tried RFT's in it? I love these tubes, but don't have any right now...maybe I should buy a few.



Also, I have all Chinese 9th gens in the headbox of my RM50 and SED 6L6's in for power tubes.

well considering there are only 8 of these mods in the world right now 8) your response may be limited LOL... i'm hoping they are going to make and sell more soon...(hurry up randall ) i want a KH2 :twisted:

I haven't felt the need to change the stock tubes that came in mine..I think they are Ruby Chinese tubes.....
